A hand runs ~10 min.
The honest bit
Faithful to a stated ruleset
Built as Two-player Gin Rummy over a standard 52-card deck dealt 10 each: draw the stock or discard, then discard one; form melds (sets and runs); knock with ten or fewer deadwood points to go out and win the hand, with 5 disclosed simplifications — so the rules never change under your feet.
One hand decides it — the first to knock wins. No running score across games.
You knock at the start of your turn, instead of after drawing.
Going out with no cards left over still wins, but there's no bonus for it.
The same player always goes first — no dealer to rotate.
The deck won't run out before someone can knock, so there's no reshuffle rule.
