A hand runs ~25 min.
The honest bit
Faithful to a stated ruleset
Built as Four-player Hearts over a standard 52-card deck dealt 13 each: follow the led suit; each heart is one penalty point and the queen of spades is thirteen; hands play until someone reaches the target score, then the fewest points wins, with 5 disclosed simplifications — so the rules never change under your feet.
You keep your dealt hand — there's no passing cards before the round.
The same player leads the very first trick; after that the trick winner leads.
Whoever won the last trick leads the next hand.
You can lead any card — hearts don't have to be "broken" first.
There's no "shooting the moon" — penalty points always count against you.
