The honest bit
Faithful to a stated ruleset
Built as Four-player Whist over a standard 52-card deck dealt 13 each: follow the led suit if you can; the highest card of the led suit takes the trick and leads the next; most tricks wins, with 4 disclosed simplifications — so the rules never change under your feet.
One hand decides it — win the most tricks and you win (a tie is a draw).
There's no trump suit — the highest card of the led suit wins.
The same player leads first; after that, whoever wins a trick leads the next.
Four players, each on their own — no teams.
